As a Sand
Palace Arts project we worked with the local Community and Schools to
create a temporary Sculpture Trail on the theme of the Garden Party,it
was sited in front of the Old Summerhouse on the National Trust Stackpole
Estate in Pembrokeshire.
Using woodland thinnings we constructed a giant teapot, picnic basket,
bottle and glass, huge slices of cake and a bowl of cherries, many other
large insects and cobwebs were hung in the trees. The opening celebration
featured food and drink, live music and traditional dance.
