Saint Marks VA Primary School Lion.

Robert Jakes and Charlotte Cortazzi recently worked with St Marks Primary School, Merlins Bridge, Haverfordwest. Charlotte ran design workshops with a group of parents and children at the school, they created drawings and paintings, flags and sculptural models on a Lion theme.

Robert cut out the elements in wood and constructed and shaped the Lion.

The Lion then went back to the School to be painted, inset with small mirrors and gold leafed.

The Lion was officially unveiled by the Bishop of St Davids.

And now resides at the School.
