This Pembrokeshire Mental Health
Project was organise by ‘Artscare’ and involved 3
artists working in 3 different centres around Pembrokeshire (Mind,
Hafal and Frame).
Robert worked at the recycling centre ‘Frame’ in Haverfordwest
to help create a series of sculptures using the rich and varied
range of materials that ‘Frame’ deals with.
The resulting work was inspired by the constant to-ing and fro-ing
of the ‘Frame’ vans collecting and delivering all
manner of ‘stuff’.
The first ‘van’ incorporated stainless steel cutlery
(of which unbelievable quantities are disposed of!) in a mosaic
design.
The second ‘van’ driven by a martial arts Hampster
was created using old LP’s, CD’s, scrabble letters
and someone’s eraser collection!
The third ‘van’ carried stacked tea cups and saucers
and was driven by Winnie the Pooh.
