was asked by Red Kite Environment to create 5 new welcome signs
for the Brecon
Beacons National Park Waterfall Walk in the Fforest Fawr Geopark.
In this Special area of Conservation the rivers Mellte, Hepste,
Pyrddin and Nedd Fechan
wind their way down deep tree-lined gorges, over a series of dramatic
waterfalls, before
joining to form the River Neath.
The Oak was sourced locally and cut at George Dickman's sawmill
near Hebron. |

The path to the waterfall near Pontneddfechan, Craig y Ddinas,
passes by the old
Gunpowder Works (with descriptive poetry by 'QuiteWrite').

Pont Melin-fach, following the path once taken by horse-drawn
trams transporting Silica.

Sgwd Clun Gwyn.

Cwm Porth, near the largest cave entrance in Wales.

Gwaun Hepste, this trail leads to the Sgwd yr Eira waterfall that
can be walked behind.
