Winter Lantern Festival, PEMBROKE DOCK
The Pembroke Dock Festival Group invited Sand Palace Arts to work with the three local schools. About 200 colourful hand held lanterns were created by the children and lit with small reusable led torches.

The Festival group, the local community and Sand Palace Arts created five large illuminated structures based on the poem ‘The night before Christmas’: a glowing Fireplace with christmas stockings, a Snowman, a flying Reindeer, a giant Candlestick and a Mouse in the Moon.

The procession was led through the streets of Pembroke Dock headed by the town band and arrived at Western Way car park for a finale fireworks display.
