Pembroke Dock Winter Festival

The Pembroke Dock Festival committee invited Sand Palace Arts to work with the local community to help create this years illuminated procession.

Working with local schools, Pennar, Pembroke Dock Community School and St Mary’s RC School and the local community over 200 small colourful lanterns were created alongside the larger illuminated structures Two colourful birds, a pair of Christmas bells, a 5 metre long trumpet and a giant illuminated reindeer inspired by the famous Warhorse puppet.

About 1500 people came out on to the streets of Pembroke Dock to accompany the procession through the town led by the local ATC marching band. The finale included an impressive waterside Firework display.

The event was supported by Pembroke Dock Town Council, Communities First, B&Q and the Police.
