Working
with Jon Dixon of www.anglezarke-dixon.co.uk
and Sarah Douglas of Red Kite Environment Ltd and British Waterways
we created a new interpretation / picnic area by the Monmouthshire
and Brecon Canal at Watton Wharf on the outskirts of Brecon. |

How
the project was made step by step. |
Robert
worked with the 2nd Brecon Brownies alongside members of the theatre
group ‘Chance Encounters’ to create imagery relating
to the life and times of the Hay Railway.
Robert
then drew up designs based on using carved Oak railway sleepers
as the main material for construction.
The
Oak Railway Sleepers arrived
And
carving commenced…
‘flat-packed’
for delivery and put together on site |
