Working with the Art Group at Scarborough Sixth Form College we looked at ideas to do with Paradise and Heaven, and the kind of things that it would be nice to see there. The resulting ‘Gateway to Paradise’ has carved and painted details of Electric Guitars, a Snake, Fruit, Flowers, a Key, Butterflies, Palm Trees, Grapes, Birds and the Sun, Music, a Fast Car, Rainbow, an Artist’s Palette, a long drink and an Ice Cream and Botticelli’s ‘Venus’.
